No, there are absolutely zero booking fees, service charges, or hidden commissions when you search for clinics or send enquiries through the Clanics platform. The price you agree with the clinic is exactly what you pay. We believe in complete financial transparency, which is why we do not take a cut of your treatment costs or charge you to contact a provider. The clinics themselves subscribe to our SaaS platform to list their services, leaving the client experience entirely free of charge.
Yes, Clanics is 100% free for patients and clients. There are no monthly membership fees, subscription charges, or account creation costs. You can use Clara AI, shortlist your favourite clinics, save personal consultation notes, and send direct enquiries to providers at zero cost. Our directory is funded entirely by flat-rate software subscriptions paid by the listed clinics and salons, ensuring a premium, ad-free experience for searchers.
At Clanics, we treat your privacy with the utmost seriousness, operating in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Glanis Ltd acts as the sole data controller for your personal information. When you share health-related information or treatment preferences, you are providing Special Category Data under Article 9 of the UK GDPR, which requires your explicit consent. We encrypt this data both in transit and at rest, and we only transmit it to the specific clinic you choose to contact. You retain full rights over your data, including the right to access, rectify, or request the permanent erasure of your records at any time.
We only publish reviews from clients with a confirmed enquiry or booking relationship with a clinic listed on Clanics, and we use automated checks to help detect fake, incentivised, or abusive reviews. All reviews must follow our moderation guidelines, which prohibit offensive language, spam, and defamatory statements, and reviews flagged as suspicious are investigated by our team. Reviews are the personal opinions of the people who post them — they are not statements by Clanics, and we do not independently verify the facts in them.
The Patient Shortlist feature is designed to help you compare clinics and curate your preferred providers in one centralised space. When searching the directory, you can add clinics to your shortlist and add personal notes regarding pricing, treatment queries, or schedules. To ensure you never lose your progress, our system features automatic draft saving for all notes. Even if you accidentally close your browser tab or navigate away, your typed notes are automatically saved locally and synced to your secure client profile, ready for when you return.
Once you submit an enquiry, the clinic receives an instant notification via their Clanics dashboard. The enquiry is logged in their inbox, where they can review your request, check practitioner availability, and provide a tailored quote. You will receive an automated email notification as soon as the clinic responds. You can safely manage the entire conversation, view quotes, and arrange your next steps directly within your secure Clanics client portal, ensuring your personal contact details remain private until you choose to share them.
Clanics is a global directory, and clinics are independent businesses solely responsible for holding the registrations, licences, insurance, and professional memberships required in their own country. Regulators vary by location: in the UK, for example, this can include Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration for relevant providers in England (or the equivalent bodies in Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland), and registration of practitioners with bodies such as the GMC, GDC, or NMC; clinics elsewhere are regulated by their own national and local authorities. Clinics may display their registration details on their profile, but Clanics is a listing platform and does not independently verify, vet, or accredit any clinic or practitioner. Please always carry out your own checks on the relevant public registers in the clinic's country before booking or attending — see our Terms.

Clara AI will instantly detect the language and provide translation-free, natural responses to guide you to the perfect clinic, making the search for global wellness and clinical treatments accessible and seamless.
You can browse the directory and chat with Clara without an account. You’ll be asked to sign in — using a secure one-time code sent to your email — when you send an enquiry or save a shortlist, so your conversations and details stay protected. You’re always in control of your data: from your account settings you can update your details or permanently delete your account at any time, which erases your personal records in line with your right to erasure under UK GDPR. Clinics manage their own enquiries and response times, and most reply within a day or two. If you haven’t heard back, you can message another clinic at any time — there’s no limit on how many you contact, and it’s always free. Clanics is a listing platform and can’t respond, quote, or book on a clinic’s behalf, but if a listing looks inaccurate or unresponsive you can let us know and we’ll look into it.
You can leave a review once you have a genuine enquiry or booking relationship with a clinic listed on Clanics — this helps keep reviews authentic. You’ll find the reviews you’ve written under My Reviews in your account. Reviews must reflect your own honest experience and follow our guidelines (no offensive, false, or defamatory content). Reviews are the views of the people who post them and are not statements by Clanics; we may remove any that breach our guidelines.
Prices and ‘from’ figures shown on Clanics are provided by each clinic as a guide to help you compare, and are not a quote or a binding offer. Your final price depends on your consultation, chosen treatment, and the clinic’s own terms. Always confirm the full cost, what’s included, and any aftercare directly with the clinic before going ahead.

Yes, we offer a 14-day free trial for clinics upgrading from our Get Found plan to a paid Get Booked or Keep Growing subscription. The trial allows you to explore our advanced market intelligence features, invite additional team members, and access priority positioning at zero risk. You can cancel your trial at any time within the 14 days through your Stripe billing portal without being charged. If you decide to remain on the plan, your paid subscription will begin automatically at the end of the trial period.
All payments are securely processed through Stripe. For clinics operating within the United Kingdom, standard UK VAT of 20% is added to the flat-rate subscription price at checkout. Our company VAT registration number is GB514142531. If your clinic is located outside the UK, subscriptions are billed exclusive of UK VAT, and you may be responsible for self-assessing local taxes depending on your regional jurisdiction. You can download official VAT tax invoices and manage your billing parameters at any time via the self-service Stripe billing portal in your account settings.
No. Clanics operates on a flat SaaS model, meaning we charge zero booking commissions or transaction fees on enquiries. Unlike traditional booking portals that take a percentage cut of your patient treatments, our plans are strictly flat-rate. Whether you receive one enquiry or one hundred from your listing, you keep 100% of your earnings. This gives you clear, predictable, flat-rate costs for your business.
To guarantee billing accuracy and eliminate account disruptions, the Clanics platform incorporates advanced security safeguards for Stripe integration. Our system implements Stripe webhook event deduplication by checking incoming event IDs against a secure event ledger, preventing duplicate processing of the same payment event. Additionally, our webhook handler performs strict out-of-order Stripe event checks. This ensures that older, delayed notifications (such as an outdated invoice payment attempt) cannot overwrite newer subscription states (such as a successful plan upgrade), maintaining the absolute integrity of your billing status.
Your enquiries are managed in a central workspace located at /admin/enquiries. To help your team coordinate client communication efficiently, each enquiry progresses through four distinct states:
- Unread: Newly arrived enquiries that require your team’s initial attention.
- Quoted: Enquiries where a team member has replied to the client with pricing details or a treatment estimate.
- Booked: Leads that have successfully scheduled their treatment at your clinic.
- Archived: Resolved or inactive conversations that you wish to remove from your primary inbox view.
Boosts are visibility upgrades that temporarily lift your clinic's prominence in local search results. Unlike subscription plans, a Boost is a one-off payment — it carries no recurring cost and automatically expires at the end of its promotional period. You can buy and stack multiple Boosts to line up with seasonal promotions or new treatment launches. Keep Growing subscribers also receive one free Boost credit every month as part of their plan.
You are responsible for ensuring your clinic and practitioners hold all registrations, licences, insurance, and regulatory approvals required where you operate — for example, Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration where applicable in England, and GMC, GDC, or NMC registration for practitioners (or the equivalent authorities for clinics outside the UK). You can add these registration details to your profile so clients can see them. Clanics is a listing platform and does not independently verify or accredit listings, and a listing is not an endorsement; by listing, you warrant that your information is accurate, lawful, and compliant (see our Terms). We may remove or suspend any listing that appears inaccurate or non-compliant.
Clinics are encouraged to engage constructively with client feedback. Through your dashboard, clinics on a paid plan can reply directly to any review published on their profile. To maintain platform integrity, we enforce strict review moderation guidelines. If you believe a review breaches our policies — for instance, if it contains defamatory language, a conflict of interest (such as a competitor review), or incorrect medical assertions — you can submit a moderation request. Our moderation team will review the request and, where appropriate, request further details or remove the offending content.
The Market Intelligence dashboard provides anonymised, aggregated market insights to help you position your clinic competitively. It shows how your prices compare with nearby clinics service by service, local search demand for your treatments, your newest local competitors, areas with high demand but few clinics, and an estimate of the revenue you could win back by adjusting your pricing. These insights are presented in your dashboard so you can refine your pricing and focus your marketing where demand is strongest. Market Intelligence is included with the Keep Growing plan.
Onboarding your clinic is designed to be as frictionless as possible. When you sign up, Clara AI acts as your digital onboarding assistant. By analysing your existing website URL, Clara AI can automatically scrape, parse, and structure your business hours, treatment menu, staff credentials, and contact details. This automatically generates a draft profile for your clinic. You can then review, modify, and approve the details, add your payment details if you choose a paid plan, and publish your listing in under ten minutes, eliminating manual data entry.
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then, and no further charges are taken. After that, your clinic moves to the free Get Found plan: your listing stays live (with free-plan limits) and your data is not deleted. If you’d prefer your account and data to be permanently removed, you can request erasure and we’ll process it in line with UK GDPR. Please note that paid fees are non-refundable — see our Terms.
If a payment fails, we don’t cut off your paid features straight away. Stripe automatically retries the charge, and your clinic keeps its paid plan during a short grace period (currently 7 days) so a temporary card issue doesn’t disrupt your listing. We’ll prompt you to update your card through the secure Stripe billing portal. If the payment still isn’t resolved after the grace period, your clinic moves to the free Get Found plan until billing is back in order — your data and enquiries are never deleted.
No. As a business (B2B) service, all subscription fees and Boost payments are non-refundable, and we don’t offer partial refunds or pro-rata credit for unused time, downgrades, paused profiles, or completed Boosts. When you cancel, you simply keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, with no further charges after that. Full details are in section 8 of our Terms.
Everything is managed from your clinic dashboard. You can edit your profile details, opening hours, treatment menu, and photos at any time. Your plan sets how many photos, services, and team seats you have (for example, more on Get Booked and Keep Growing) — you’ll see your current allowance in the dashboard, and you can upgrade whenever you need more. To add colleagues, invite them from the Team area; each invited member gets their own secure sign-in, so your staff can manage enquiries together.
